Institution Visit to CSI VHS and HSS for the Deaf, Veliyam
We are all blessed from Almighty, that we can hear,see,walk. But not all are lucky enough to get this blessing. But they are having many abilities that others doesn't have. There is a special school at Veliyam, giving training and education- CSI VHS and HSS for the Deaf. Through thorough training from the experts, they gradually learns to overcome their disabilities with their abilities. The positive vibe they shares can never be replaced. Their smile and approach to us worth more than anything. We also got an opportunity to observe their teachers handling their classes. It is very evident that

Microteaching Class
Microteaching is important for improving as a professional teacher. As a teacher one has to acquire skills like: Skill of Introducing Skill of using Black boarf Skill of explaining etc Skill of Reinforcement Skill of Stimulus Variation Skill of Questioning Skill of Prompting question Skill of Concluding. etc... In this section I prefer to perform skill of stimulus variation. Through this section I feel confident in using various stimulus like changing my mode or presentation form verbal to non-verbal and also modulating my voice according to the situation. This type of practices are helpful in moulding skillfull teachers.
Roleplay in classroom
Role playing is a good method of transacting difficult topics in class. It also helps in getting a first hand experience in the topic. During our discussions on BLOOMS TAXONOMY,our dear Maya Devi Tr gives us a chance to perform in the classroom as various educationlist related to the Taxonomy. We played a drama in order to come more familiar with the topic of BLOOM'S TAXONOMY. Me myself perform as a coworker of Dr. Benjamin S Bloom. My friends Poornima Jebin, Kavyalekshmi,Sayana, Athulya all perform their roles very besutifully. We are very greatful to our teacher for giving us such an opportunity. We enquire more to better ourselves and this help our learning. Thanks to Maya Devi Tr and a my friends.
