Field trip - a Wonderful day in my life

As a part of our B.ed curriculum, we had a field trip on 09-10-2019. The places selected was in Thiruvananthapuram. Our journey starts from coffee house from 6.30 am. We went of from there after having our breakfast by 7.30 am. Our first place of visit was THONNACKAL KUMARANASAN SMARAKAM, which was a place of great historical importance. From there we left for Thumba for VIKRAM SARABHAI SPACE CENTRE and from there, to Thumba Rocket Launching Centre. There we witness a rocket launching, which was for weather podcasting. After having our lunch, we visit KOIKKAL PALACE and MEENMUTTI WATERFALLS. Then we return back to Kottarakara.

The KUMARANASAN SMARAKAM and KOIKKAL PALACE was a heritage of cultural identities, whereas VSSC, THUMBA was a place of scientific knowledge and the place give us an opportunity for direct experience.MEENMUTTY WATERFALLS was a place of beauty and rich in natural resources.

Education in todays world is clearly taking a new dimension of technology. In this aspect, a teacher is must transform themsleves into technopedagogue. Thus creating subject related videos or other such digital content for teaching practices. As a part of our curriculum, we all create a e-content, as a part of moulding ourself to a equipped teacher according to the needs of students.  I create a e-content video based on the topic- Magnetism . I used a famous viseo editing app named "kinemaster" for this purpose. Really, it is a new experience for me. It help us to understand how much direct experience is meant for in teaching leaening process.  Attaching the e-content, I created for smooth teaching-learning process.
